And we do so in a number of ways United Breast Cancer Foundation The United Breast Cancer Foundation’s mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of those affected by breast cancer. UBCF offers the national community seven unique patient and family programs dedicated to breast cancer screening and prevention, treatment, and patient health and well- being. The Lucky Clover Trading Company is proud to partner with the United Breast Cancer Foundation throughout 2013. We share in their commitment to making a difference in the lives of those with cancer and you can, too. With the help of generous donors, volunteers, and employees the Red Cross has become the nation’s premier humanitarian organization. National Breast Cancer Foundation The national Breast Cancer Foundation’s mission is to save lives through early detection, provide mammograms for those in need, increase awareness through education, and provide nurturing support services. The Lucky Clover Trading Company is proud to have partnered with the National Breast Cancer Foundation throughout the year of 2012, by offering customers an opportunity to give back and support the cause by purchasing “pink” baskets. Inc. with their 17th Annual Dinner & Fundraising Auction. H.I.S. K.I.D.S Inc. mission is to decrease the devastation of childhood cancer to families through support programs, emotional-health services, and emergency assistance. The Lucky Clover Trading Company has donated baskets that will be used to hold items for their charity auction. The proceeds from this event will be used for the H.I.S. K.I.D.S Inc. Summer Camp Program. This program is unique in the fact that it includes both children with cancer and their siblings. Family Bridges We are proud to support Family Bridges in their Annual Fundraising Dinner. The mission of Family Bridges’ is to empower people including the young and elderly, immigrants, those with health conditions, and those with limited English proficiency (LEP) lead self-sufficient and independent lives within the community. The Lucky Clover Trading Company will be donating baskets to be used to hold items for the silent auction taking place at the Annual Fundraising Dinner. Make a Wish Foundation Over the last 25 years, the Make-A-Wish® Greater Bay Area has been able to grant over 5,000 wishes to children in our local area with life-threatening illness. Since 1980, the organization as a whole has granted more than 250,000 wishes for children around the world. The Lucky Clover Trading Company is proud to donate to an organization that helps make a dream come true in a young person’s life. The Make-A-Wish® foundation provides hope to these children and a moment to forget about their illness and just be a kid. About 1 in 400 children and adolescents has diabetes, and sadly these numbers continue to rise. The Lucky Clover Trading Company is proud to help support a program like The Barton Center for Diabetes Education, Inc. whose mission is to improve the lives of children with insulin-dependent diabetes through education, recreation, and support programs which inspire and empower. The Barton Center for Diabetes Education, Inc. operates a year-round camp, retreat, and conference center for children and their families. We are proud to support Heartstrings Community Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting adults with developmental disabilities. The organization’s stated goal and purpose is to be the preferred agency for individuals with developmental disabilities who can obtain training, employment, personal development, independence and relationships in the community in order to expand their life experiences. Heartstrings Community Foundation runs and operates five businesses that employ adults with developmental disabilities and gives them the opportunity to part of the working community. Our donation of baskets will be used in the organization’s gift basket making business, which will later be sold within the community and online.
