The Lucky Clover Gives Back by Donating Baskets to the Donald D. Griffith Jr. Foundation Scholarship Fund

Benicia, CA-The Lucky Clover Trading Co., a division of Kingsum, Inc. announced today they are donating baskets to support a silent auction and raffle for the Donald D. Griffith Jr. Foundation. This non-profit organization is dedicated to providing scholarships to students interested in police force education or veterinarian medicine programs. The Donald D. Griffith Jr. Foundation founded in 2005 in memory of Sgt. Donald D. Griffith Jr., a U.S. soldier who was killed in action while serving in Iraq.

The Donald D. Griffith Jr. Foundation based in Mechanicsville, Iowa, the hometown of Donald D. Griffith Jr. is dedicated to keeping his memory alive. They will be holding a silent auction and raffle on January 26th 2013 to help raise funds. Money that is raised during the auction goes to a scholarship fund in his name. With every $500 raised the foundation rewards a scholarship to a student in his honor.

“U.S. soldiers put their lives on the line everyday to give us the freedoms we often take for granted,” states associate Rachelle Gutschenritter. “I am humbled that our company is willing to support an organization that gives back to its community in memory of Sgt. Donald D. Griffith Jr.”

The Lucky Clover Trading Company is excited about giving back and is thrilled that their donation of baskets will help raise money for the Donald D. Griffith Jr. scholarship program. The company will select one charitable non-profit organization to donate to every month. This program is open to non-profit organizations locally and nationally. The Lucky Clover Trading Company encourages those qualified to apply.
