The Lucky Clover Trading Company Gives Back to the Community,

Donating Baskets to the Nevada Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

Benicia, CA – The Lucky Clover Trading Co., a division of Kingsum, Inc., announced today that they have donated baskets to the Las Vegas, Nevada chapter of the nonprofit organization, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The donation of baskets will be used to create gift baskets for their annual silent auction to be held in September. The benefit, called the 65 Roses Culinary Event, showcases a local chef, but will include a silent and live auction. All of the proceeds from the auction will go directly to help the organization carry out its mission of finding a cure for cystic fibrosis.

Founded in 1955 and based out of Bethesda, Maryland, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is the “world’s leader in the search for a cure for cystic fibrosis.” The nonprofit organization, along with support from its donors, is committed to fighting the disease in every which way it can, with over 75 chapters and branches established throughout the country. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation fights the disease by focusing on supporting the development of new drugs, the improvement of the quality of life for individuals living with cystic fibrosis, and finally to find a cure for the chronic disease.

There are about 70,000 people worldwide affected by this disease, and 30,000 children and adults in the U.S. alone. In part to the research and medical treatment efforts of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, individuals are now living well into their 30’s, 40’s and beyond.

“The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is the driving force in finding a cure for this disease,” says associate Rachelle Gutschenritter. “They have really made a difference in all aspects of helping those diagnosed, from supporting the scientists who first discovered the cause of cystic fibrosis, to implementing new therapies that are used regularly today. Knowing that our company gives back to organizations such as The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation makes me as feel as if we are helping make a difference in this world.”

The Lucky Clover Trading Company is excited about giving back and is thrilled that their donation of baskets will help with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation live and silent auction fundraiser to continue the Foundation’s focus on fighting the disease. The company will select one charitable non-profit organization to donate to every month. This program is open to non-profit organizations locally and nationally and The Lucky Clover Trading Co. encourages those qualified to apply.
